Off to Paris, Normandy, and Brussels

I’m off  to Europe today for a week with stops in Paris, Normandy, and Brussels. In Paris, we’re staying at the Hotel Jules et Jim, a new boutique hotel in the Marais featured on Condé Nast’s 2013 Hot List. It also has a great review on Tripadvisor and is a perfect homebase from which to explore Paris. In Normandy, we’re spending two nights in a quaint bed and breakfast in an old dairy farmhouse called La Beauconnaire. It’s close to Mont St. Michel and the D-Day beaches. From Normandy, we’re driving back to Brussels, where we’re staying with a friend and exploring the city with possible day trips to Bruges and Antwerp. For the flight back to Washington, DC, I’m checking out the new Brussels Airlines non-stop flight to see how it compares to United’s daily flight on the same route.

Look for a full TripBadger review of the hotels, sights, and Brussels Airlines soon!
